Join us on the 7th June 2015 as we head to the Ben!

In 2015 Rat Race City to Summit, arguably the hardest iron-distance triathlon in the world, will be back to push you beyond your limits. Swim 2.4 miles in the Firth of Forth, Cycle 112 miles across the Scottish Highlands, and Run 27 miles through rough terrain before heading up and over Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak. We aren’t bragging when we say this race takes endurance to a whole new level.

The 2014 edition took place in stunning sunshine for the second year running and the lead racers were able to enjoy 360 degree views from the top of Ben Nevis. Despite the great conditions, the race left its mark on competitors who unreservedly described it as ‘brutal’. This is a 140 mile race where even the lead racer takes 3 hours to cover the final 7 miles…

This will be the challenge of a lifetime and a great experience at that, but don’t take our word for it – See what these 2014 competitors had to say after the event

1st Female 2014 – @KatePearsonScot: “@RatRaceHQ thanks again for an amazing time yesterday at #citytosummit The support staff were all AMAZING!”

15th Male 2014 – @robparry: “Thanks @RatRaceHQ for a fantastic event – brilliantly organised and your crew were just awesome #citytosummit”

@alexbd: “About to set off home after another fantastic @RatRaceHQ event – thanks for the awesome organisation and great support! #citytosummit”

Duncan Borthwick – “Definitely the finest outing in the UK!! Many thanks to Rat Race and all the supporters and well wishers along the route.”
